There’s something about the Eastern Sierra that settles into your bones. Maybe it’s the way the mountains rise straight out of the desert floor, dramatic and unapologetic. Or the way the light lingers just a little longer at sunset, washing granite peaks in soft pinks and golds. Whatever it is, couples who choose the Eastern Sierra for their wedding aren’t just picking a location—they’re choosing a feeling, an adventure, and a memory.

As a photographer, the Eastern Sierra is one of those places that never stops giving. Every season, every elevation, every view is irreplaceable. If you’re dreaming of an intimate mountain wedding, a quiet elopement, an adventurous elopement, or a weekend-long celebration surrounded by nature, the Eastern Sierra's are for you.

Why Choose the Eastern Sierra for Your Wedding?

The Eastern Sierra stretches along California’s Highway 395, hugging the eastern edge of the Sierra Nevada mountains. It’s home to alpine lakes, incredible views, high desert valleys, aspen groves, evergreen forests, volcanic rock formations, and some of the most dramatic landscapes in the world. Mammoth Lakes, CA is one of those iconic locations for a variety of top wedding venues for a bride and groom to share their vows.
