STEP 1: Inquire -Fill out the inquiry form with your rough ideas and vision as well as your date.

STEP 2: Phone Conversation - We will discuss you day and vision. I will recommend a package.

STEP 3: Book - To be considered "booked", you must sign the contract and pay the non-refundable retainer.

STEP 4: Planning - We will work together to build a timeline of activities that suits your vision. I will scout and research your venue and make plans to deal with any weather.

STEP 5: Your Wedding Day - Celebrate and enjoy. I will guide the portraits and step back to photograph your day as if unfolds capturing the array of emotions, events, and decor.

STEP 6: Gallery Delivery - in 48 hours, you will receive your sneak peeks. Your full gallery will be delivered in 4-8 weeks.

How much does a wedding photographer cost in Mammoth Lakes?
Megan Guffey's wedding packages range from $700 for a 2-hour Bite Size session to $3,550 for a 10-hour Extended Day. The most popular is the Full Day at $2,550, with 8 hours of coverage and 400+ edited images.
What's included in every wedding package?
Every package includes a single photographer, a sneak peek within 48 hours, a password-protected online gallery, and print rights.
How many photos will we get?
Roughly, you can expect about 50-60 images per hour. That gives the following image counts of 100+ for Bite Size, 200+ for Half Day, 400+ for Full Day, and 600+ for Extended Day.
Can we add more hours or a second photographer?
Yes. Additional hours are $250 per hour, and a second photographer is $500.
Do you photograph weddings at Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and Carson Valley venues?
Yes. I photograph weddings across the Eastern Sierra from Lone Pine to Bishop, to Mammoth Lakes, to Bridgeport, to the Carson Valley, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, and surrounding areas. I enjoy photographing at a variety of locations like Convict Lake, Sierra Star Golf Course, Hayden Cabin, any of the Mammoth Mountain or June Mountain resort venues, Sunridge Golf Course, the Douglas County Community Center, and the Minden Mercantile.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes. An engagement session is $450 as an add-on, and the Extended Day package includes a 2-hour engagement session. See my Proposal and Engagement Page for more information.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Obviously, I cannot control the weather, and I often feel that weather can make things more exciting and invigorating. It can create a sense of intimacy and mystery. With that being said, I plan backup locations and flexible timing with you ahead of time. Should weather change more than expected, I will touch base with the couple and/or planner to make adjustments as needed.
How far in advance should I book?
Popular dates for summer and fall fill up fast. I recommend booking 6 to 12 months in advance. Winter and weekdays have more availability. Regardless, please don't hesitate to reach out to see if I can accommodate your date as things may have changed and may not be reflected on the calendar for availability.
What's your payment and cancellation policy?
A 25% non-refundable retainer is due along with a signed contract in order to consider yourself booked. You have the option of paying the remainder 1 lump sum or splitting it into 2 payments. Your contract will outline specific dates for specific amounts or percentages, for any refunds. Hopefully the date does not change; however, if it does, we will see if we can accommodate the new date. This will also be listed in your contract.
Do you do elopements too?
Yes. See my [elopement photography page] for intimate mountain ceremonies. While I like the mountains, it does not need to be in the mountains.
