Hi, I’m Megan — the person behind the lens —

an Eastern Sierra & Carson Valley photographer with a passion for people, landscapes, adventure, and genuine connection. I grew up in Mammoth Lakes surrounded by the beauty of the Sierra Nevada and have spent years working, teaching, guiding, coaching, volunteering, traveling, and creating throughout California, Nevada, the Western United States, and worldwide.

 

My background includes outdoor recreation, wilderness medicine instruction, education and coaching, event work, community involvement, music, theater, and dance, customer service in restaurants and banquet services, and years of photographing the incredible people and places that make this region so special.

Photography allows me to combine my love of the outdoors and nature with adventure, recreation, storytelling, creativity, human connection, and celebrating the small and big moments in life. I believe the best photographs happen when people feel comfortable being themselves. My goal is to create an enjoyable, relaxed experience while capturing authentic moments, meaningful details, and the beauty of the environment around you.
